BRIEF BIO

Dr. Ketna Atul Matkar has a Ph. D in Microbiology, she has done her Post Graduate Diploma in Sustainable Environment Management and Environmental Law and Policy. She has more than 30 certificates in the domain of Environment and several papers published in national and international journals.
​
She is the Founder and Managing Director at Cipher Environmental Solutions LLP, Thane. She works as a technical expert for sustainability, environment, waste management, climate proofing, and provides consultation to clients from industry, institutes, government and non-government sectors.
​
Dr. Matkar is selected as a Regional Mentor of Change, Atal Innovation Mission, Niti Aayog. She is also a Climate Reality Leader, trained by the Ex- US Vice President, Al Gore.
​
She has an extensive cross sectoral experience of more than 25 years. She has worked for a larger part of her career as Head, Department of Microbiology at Indore.

She Speaks on various topics that might not be limited to-Sustainability, SDGs, Climate Change, Disaster Risk Reduction, Waste management, Climate adaptation, Climate Mitigation, Environment Management, Microbiology Etc.
